The "Sounds and Messages" settings allow users to configure various sounds and alerts used within the DBS3 client. Sounds and Alerts can be customized per Sport or League, allowing users to play particular types of sounds, or display particular types of pop-up alerts based off of Individual Sport Settings.
Configuration
To configure Sound and Messages, go to Settings -> Sounds and Messages.
Line Change Alerts
To enable Line Change Alerts click the "Enable Sound" checkbox. Next, add the sportsbooks in which you would like to hear alerts for by selecting them from the left-hand side list and using the Add buttons to add them to the right-hand side list. This feature is disabled by default.
Urgent Message Alerts
To enable Urgent Message Sound Alerts click the "Enable Sound" checkbox in the Urgent Message Alerts section. To enable Urgent Message Pop-up Alerts, click the "Enable Popup" checkbox. These are enabled for all Sports/Leagues by default.
Lineup Alerts
To enable Lineup Sound Alerts click the "Enable Sound" checkbox in the Lineup Alerts section. To enable Lineup Pop-up Alerts, click the "Enable Popup" checkbox. Lineup Sound Alerts are enabled for all Sports/Leagues by default. Lineup Pop-up Alerts are disabled for all Sports/Leagues by default.
Umpire Alerts
To enable Umpire Sound Alerts click the "Enable Sound" checkbox in the Umpire Alerts section. To enable Umpire Pop-up Alerts, click the "Enable Popup" checkbox. Umpire Sound Alerts are enabled for all applicable Sports/Leagues by default. Lineup Pop-up Alerts are disabled for all Sports/Leagues by default.
Pitching Change Alerts
To enable Pitching Change Sound Alerts click the "Enable Sound" checkbox in the Pitching Change Alerts section. To enable Pitching Change Pop-up Alerts, click the "Enable Popup" checkbox. Pitching Change Sound Alerts are enabled for all applicable Sports/Leagues by default. Pitching Change Pop-up Alerts are disabled for all Sports/Leagues by default.
Final Alerts
To enable Final Sound Alerts click the "Enable Sound" checkbox in the Final Alerts section. To enable Final Pop-up Alerts, click the "Enable Popup" checkbox. Final Sound Alerts are enabled for all Sports/Leagues by default. Final Pop-up Alerts are disabled for all Sports/Leagues by default.
Steam Play Alerts
To enable Steam Play Sound Alerts click the "Enable Sound" checkbox in the Steam Play Alerts section. To enable Steam Play Pop-up Alerts, click the "Enable Popup" checkbox. These are enabled for all Sports/Leagues by default.
Individual Sport Settings
Individual Sport Settings within the "Sound and Messages" settings can be used to customize the various sound or pop-up alerts, such that users can have certain types of alerts enabled for certain Sports/Leagues, while having other types of alerts disabled for other Sports/Leagues. To enable this feature, select a sport or league under the Individual Sport Settings drop down menu. When prompted if you would like to enable Individual Settings for the selected sport, click "Yes". Then setup your alerts the way you want them for this particular sport. Click the "Apply" button to save your current settings and continue to make changes. Click the "Save" button to save your settings and exit. Note that Individual Sport Settings take precedence over the Universal Settings.
