Here is part two of my
handicapping article from last week
A big part of my success is
creating angles and trends that few other handicappers use.
One of those angles is keeping
track of what teams do after they play a specific opponent.
Some teams, especially those with
tough defenses (See Arizona below) tend to beat up a team to the point the team
struggles the following week.
Some teams are marquee matchups
and there is a letdown for the following weeks foe.
Some teams are so easy to play it
is like a week off and their opponents are fresh the next week.
Like most handicapping trends, 99%
of the work is for naught as the percentage is not good enough to use, or bad
enough to go against.
Oh but that 1% is worth it!
I have broken down what teams do
against the spread each individual NFL squad. Home, away and overall for the
AFC.
Please note some of the Overall
numbers will not jive with the Home and Away numbers due to pushes and
byes.
