DBS3 USER GUIDE : Shortcut Keys

The Shortcut Keys settings allow users to customize their own Shortcut Keys used to make navigating the screen quicker and easier. The same Shortcut Keys found in DBS2K are also found here in DBS3, except in DBS3 users have the ability to remap keys to different functions.

Configuration

To configure Shortcut Keys, go to Settings -> Shortcut Keys.

Step 1

Review the list of available functions on the left column.

Step 2

Click on a function to assign a new shortcut key mapping to it.

Step 3

Press the desired key from your keyboard, you should see the new key mapping appear in the Shortcut Key column for that given function. You will see a pop-up warning if the key you choose is already assigned to another function. To delete an existing shortcut key mapping select the function and hit the ESC button on your keyboard.

Step 4

Click the "Save" button to save your changes and exit.
