Boston Celtics: The Celtics (4-3 straight-up, 2-5 against the spread) will be playing the second half of a back-to-back on Thursday after hosting Utah (result pending) on Wednesday. It will be interesting to see how the old legs of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce respond. Boston won and covered its last two road games at Milwaukee and Chicago after starting the season 0-5 ATS. This could be a tougher challenge.

Brooklyn Nets: The relocated Nets (4-2 SU, 3-2-1 ATS) have won three straight games (2-1 ATS), including home wins the last two over Orlando (82-74) and Cleveland (114-101). Forward Gerald Wallace and guard MarShon Brooks have both missed games recently (ankle injuries) and are listed as questionable (click to check updated NBA injury report). Their scoring is needed against a Boston team that is 3-0 SU and ATS the last three against the Nets.

Miami Heat: The Heat (6-2 SU, 4-4 ATS) will be playing the fifth game of a six-game road trip. They also played Wednesday at the L.A. Clippers (result pending) and could be dragging in the mountain air of Denver. Coach Erik Spoelstra’s team has had much more trouble scoring on the road this year at 94.5 points per game ("under" 3-1), compared to 116.5 ppg at home ("over" 3-1).

Denver Nuggets: The Nuggets (4-4 SU, 5-3 ATS) will be far more rested, having been off since Monday (110-100 loss at Phoenix). This will only be their third home game (2-0 SU and ATS so far) and new addition Andre Iguodala (15.4 PPG) leads a potent lineup with five double-digit scorers. Denver has dominated this matchup against Miami over the years, going 6-0 SU and ATS at the Pepsi Center and 12-3-1 ATS in the last 16 overall.
