Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys (3-4 straight-up and against the spread) are getting a lot of respect at these odds playing at an undefeated team. A big reason is their 3-1 ATS mark away which includes covers at very tough venues, Baltimore and the New York Giants. Note the "under" is 3-1 on the road this year and 6-1 in the last seven away. Dallas quarterback Tony Romo threw for 437 yards last week, but he had four more picks in the 29-24 home loss to the Giants. Romo had to manage with the lackluster Felix Jones at running back and DeMarco Murray (foot) is doubtful once again (click to check updated NFL injury report). The defense is allowing just 292.4 YPG (ranked fourth), but the recent loss of inside linebacker Sean Lee really hurts.

Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons (7-0 SU, 5-2 ATS) are playing their second prime-time game this year. They had a 20-0 lead over Denver and Peyton Manning in Week 2 and held on for a 27-21 MNF home win. Coach Mike Smith’s team went 0-2 ATS in the next two home games, closer than expected wins over Carolina (30-28) and Oakland (23-20). Atlanta’s offense is fifth in the league in scoring (28.7 PPG) despite being 13th in total yards (365.7 YPG). That’s due to the very efficient quarterback play of Matt Ryan (103 rating, ranked third) and the +10 differential in turnovers. These teams last met in 2009 with Dallas going 2-0 SU and ATS the last two and the "over" 3-0 in the last three.
